The Matchmaking Institute is an established Professional Matchmakers Association.

Its core mission is to help build a healthy community, share resources, and maintain quality control in the industry. A major goal of the association is to mainstream the matchmaking industry by removing the stigma and mystery historically attached to it.

The Professional Matchmakers Association brings together ethical professionals
from both the personal matchmaking field as well as the date & relationship
coaching field, building a community of support and providing access to a network of peers. The Association consists of approved members who are dedicated to maintaining a code of ethics and quality standards in the industry with an ultimate goal of enriching and enhancing the lives of singles looking for a meaningful connection. It gathers individual matchmakers and franchises alike,  introduction services as well as dating & relationship coaches, with 250+ members from 16 countries across North America, Asia, Australia and Europe.

More specifically, the Professional Matchmakers Association allows matchmakers
to gain vital resources while maintaining client confidentiality to facilitate  matches on a larger scale.

For the first time, individual matchmakers are able to share resources, support
one another, share referrals, receive press leads, as well as gain national  expansion.

Its philosophy is to share knowledge and expertise to members and create
solutions for the day-to-day operations of a matchmaking business. Such
resources include matchmaking software, a qualified lead generator, professional
conferences and much more.

Business-oriented, forward thinking matchmakers across the country and across
the world now work together in a way similar to other professional
organizations. In essence, the time has come for professional matchmakers to be
recognized as a viable, reputable, hard-working professional community.

Board of Directors

The Professional Matchmakers Association is governed by an independent Board of
Directors made up of industry luminaries including Paul Falzone, CEO The Right
One & Together Dating, Julie Ferman, founder of Cupid’s Coach, Violet Lim,
Founder of Lunch Actually, Charlee Brotherton, CEO Singles Station, and Lisa
Clampitt, Founder of VIP Life.

The core mission of the Board is to uphold quality control and a code of ethics
in the matchmaking industry. It reviews membership requests quarterly.
